Offer assurance. You can convince more people to sign up if you can give them an assurance that you're not going to spam them, that you're not going to share their contact information with other people, that it's not an obligation on their part and that they can opt-out at anytime. So, you're done building your list and now, you want to convert people on that list to paying customers. Here are some tips on how you can make that happen:
Goal setting. The first thing that I want you to do is to set your goals. It's much easier to succeed on a specific endeavor if you know exactly what it is that you're trying to achieve. Ensure that your goals are realistic and measurable. Your goals could be something like; send weekly newsletters to my prospects, get at least 35% of these people to like my Facebook page, get at least 20% of my list to join my polls, etc. After goal setting, you can easily create action plans on how you can realize these goals in a timely manner.
Offer valuable information. I am sure you'll agree with me when I say that getting people to sign up to your list is not a piece of cake. So, ensure that you don't give them any reason to opt-out. Carefully plan each newsletter that you send to these people. Ensure that they're worthy of their time. Your newsletters must not only be informative but useful as well. They must speak volumes about your in-depth knowledge and your capability to help people realize their goals or solve their pressing issues.
